The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified to 3 PQE Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join one of London's leading construction teams.

Working closely with two highly regarded Partners, you'll advise on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters supporting major commercial real estate transactions and developments. The team acts for developers, investors, landlords, occupiers and other key stakeholders across a diverse range of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to build specialist expertise within a supportive team, gaining exposure to complex work while receiving excellent mentoring and structured career development.

Your work will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating a wide range of construction documents, including building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, letters of intent and development agreements.
  • Advising clients throughout the lifecycle of development projects, from procurement through to completion.
  • Supporting senior lawyers on complex transactions while gradually taking ownership of your own matters as your experience develops.
  • Working closely with the firm's highly regarded Real Estate team on a variety of high-value development projects.
  • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified solicitor with NQ-3 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
  • The team is also keen to hear from September qualifiers who have completed a substantive seat in non-contentious construction during their training contract.
  • Exposure to drafting and negotiating non-contentious construction documentation.
  • A genuine interest in developing a specialist career in construction law.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
  • Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn from leading practitioners.
  • Enthusiastic about building client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the team.
