Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor

Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor - Birmingham/ Manchester/ Leeds/ London – Up too £95,000 + (20% - 30%) Bonus + Benefits A standout opportunity for a Senior / Principal Associate Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join a leading national law firm with a strong reputation in infrastructure, projects and public sector development. This role is ideal for a senior construction lawyer seeking to lead on complex, high-value construction and infrastructure matters across sectors including health, local government, emergency services and social housing.

This Construction Solicitor position offers involvement in major national projects from inception through to completion, including advising on large-scale infrastructure programmes. The firm offers a genuinely supportive and flexible environment, combining high-quality work with a sustainable long-term career path.

The Role: Leading on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters across major public and private sector projects Advising on complex infrastructure and development schemes from “cradle to grave” Drafting and negotiating construction contracts including JCT and NEC forms Advising on procurement strategies, risk allocation and project structuring Acting for key clients across health, local government, emergency services and social housing sectors Playing a key role on nationally significant infrastructure programmes Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team Taking an active role in client relationship management and business development

The Candidate: Senior / Principal Associate Construction Solicitor (typically 5+ PQE) Strong background in non-contentious construction and infrastructure projects Significant experience with JCT and NEC contracts Proven ability to lead matters and manage complex transactions autonomously Commercially astute with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach Strong client-facing skills with experience managing key relationships Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members Ambitious and seeking long-term progression within a high-quality national practice
