Non-Executive Director (NED) – Opportunity at Accelerate CIC
We're seeking an inspiring Non-Executive Director (NED) to join the innovative social enterprise, Accelerate CIC, on its mission to revolutionise care for chronic wounds, lymphoedema, and mobility challenges. With a vision to transform these outcomes for as many people as possible, we empower individuals through every stage of their journey, demonstrating real-life impact.
Our approaches combine decades of clinical experience and research from our Centre of Excellence for complex cases, ensuring we deliver high-quality care backed by rigorous evidence.

About the Role
As a Non-Executive Director, you’ll do more than oversee business operations—you’ll shape how we grow, continually challenge us to innovate, and help us a) realise our full potential and b) ensure sustainable success.
You’ll be expected to: ✔ Uphold our core values and vision—acting as a key enhancer of our organisation’s long-term strategy. ✔ Enrich our board with fresh perspectives, expert knowledge, and constructive critiques. ✔ Contribute your proven experience, offering wisdom, leadership, and guidance that supports scaling growth. ✔ Commit time and energy to ensure accountability and progress toward organisational goals, while ensuring moral, ethical governance.
