Non-Functional Test Engineer – Oracle Cloud - £500 per day (umbrella rate)
Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Remote (UK), Edinburgh (for key meetings)
Must have a minimum of 5 years of unbroken UK residency
Atrium EMEA are supporting a large managed service provider, looking for an experienced Non-Functional Test Engineer with strong expertise across Oracle Cloud SaaS, PaaS, and OCI to support large-scale cloud transformation programmes within the Public Sector.
You will be responsible for defining and executing non-functional testing strategies, ensuring cloud solutions meet performance, scalability, security, resilience, and availability requirements.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Non-Functional Testing across Oracle Cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM), Oracle PaaS, and OCI.
Hands-on experience with:
- Performance, Load, Stress, Volume and Resilience Testing
- Security and Compliance Testing
- Disaster Recovery and Failover Testing
- Experience using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar.
- Previous delivery experience within UK Public Sector, Government, NHS, Defence, or other regulated environments.
- Ability to analyse performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimisation.

Desirable
- Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Autonomous Database.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
