Working hours: 37.5hrs/week (9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday)
Contract dates - asap for at least 2 months (will be reviewed after 2 months)
Pay rate £52 PAYE or £59 umbrella (no limited companies' workers will be accepted)
In your role you will:
- Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
- Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Current NMC registration (RGN or RMN and a prescriber)
- Previous post registration experience as NMP (in substance misuse)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
