Northern Area Sales Manager

Horton Automatics Ltd is looking for an experienced and driven Northern Area Sales Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional with proven experience in the automatic door industry who is passionate about winning new business and building lasting customer relationships.

Starting from £40,000 per annum, with the potential to increase based on experience, industry knowledge, and proven sales performance. This role also offers uncapped commission, a company car, and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across the Northern region.
  • Increase sales revenue by identifying and securing new customers.
  • Promote Horton Automatics products and services to prospective clients.
  • Identify target areas, projects, and market opportunities to expand the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals.
  • Prospect for new business through networking and lead generation.
  • Attend customer meetings and site visits.
  • Produce regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Direct sales experience within the automatic door industry.
  • A proven track record in sales and new business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to read technical drawings and architectural specifications.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including BS EN 16005.
  • A full UK driving licence.
