This role involves working with a diverse range of charities and Non-Profit organisations, from start-ups to well-established, prestigious clients (including INGOs, grant makers, schools, academies, membership organisations, professional bodies, and housing associations), many of whom are top 100 charities or household names.

Responsibilities
As an Audit Senior Associate, you will be expected to:
- Take responsibility for running the audit and leading the on-site audit team, working directly with the client under manager supervision.
- Manage the audit team and supervise the audit process to ensure high-quality audits.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of all audit areas, under review of managers and partners. This includes:
- Preparing draft reports for senior client management and Audit Committees/Boards.
- Highlighting issues and providing potential solutions within work submitted for review.
- Ensuring compliance with internal (audit methodology, risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
- Show initiative and take responsibility for audit management, ensuring completion within agreed budgets and timescales.
- Act as the principal client contact during on-site fieldwork, engaging with senior client staff to:
- Gain a deep understanding of the organisation
- Ensure the efficient execution of the audit
- Manage on-site teams, assisting in the supervision and development of junior team members.
- Work to tight deadlines—demonstrating strong time management.
- Attend opportunities for involvement in proposals and presentations for new work.
- Participate in firm-wide activities and training opportunities.

Key Requirements
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- A qualified ACA, ICAS, or ACCA.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Robust technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Experience and familiarity with:
- Charity audits
- The Non-Profit sector
- Charities SORP (preferred but flexible)
- Interest in the broader Non-Profits sector.
