📍 Potton, Bedfordshire | 🏭 Food Manufacturing | 🕒 Full-Time At York H ouse Foods, great products start in the kitchen.We’re loo king for a passionate, talented NPD Chef who lives and breathes food—someone who can bring real culinary flair, but also understands how to turn that into products that work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’r e as comfortable building flavours and creating standout dishes as you are working through factory trials and customer briefs, we’d like to hear from you. The Role T his is a hands-on, chef-led role where you’ll be at the heart of creating and developing our product range.You’ll be :Creating bold, commercially relevant dishes and concepts that excite customersTurning k itchen ideas into scalable products without losing quality or integrityLeading f rom the front in the development kitchen—cooking, tasting, refiningRespondin g to customer briefs with creativity and paceSupportin g tastings, presentations, and benchmarking sessionsWorking a longside Technical and Production teams to bring products to life in the factory 👨‍🍳 What We’re Looking ForA stron g chef background—ideally with experience beyond hospitality (manufacturing or development kitchen preferred)A genui ne passion for food, flavour, and innovationConfide nce to put forward ideas and take ownership of conceptsUnderst anding of how to adapt dishes for scale without compromising qualitySomeone hands-on, energetic, and comfortable working at paceA natur al collaborator who enjoys working with both chefs and factory tea m s 📩 Interested?If you’ re a chef who wants to move beyond the kitchen pass and create products at scale—without losing the craft—we’d love to hear from you.Apply v ia LinkedIn or reach out for a confidential conversatio n .
