We're now looking for an ambitious NPD & Technical Manager to help shape the future of our product portfolio.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity, technical expertise and commercial thinking in a fast-paced scale-up.

Reporting to our Head of Operations, you'll lead both New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) while taking ownership of our Quality Management System and food safety compliance.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Operations and our founders to bring exciting new wellness products to market while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the development of innovative food and wellness products from concept through to launch
  • Improve and optimise our existing product range
  • Research ingredients and collaborate with suppliers on new opportunities
  • Own and manage our Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Lead SALSA audits and maintain food safety compliance
  • Ensure HACCP, allergen, traceability and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Manage product specifications, technical documentation and label compliance
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver projects on time and within budget

About You

You'll probably have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in Technical, NPD or Product Development within Food & Beverage or Wellness
  • Experience successfully launching new products into production
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, SALSA and/or BRC
  • Experience managing or supporting technical audits and a QMS
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence costing new products
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • A Food Science (or similar) degree would be advantageous
