NPD Technologist
Senior New Product Development (NPD) Manager – Natural Health & Nutrition
About the Role
At KURK, we’re a health and nutrition company specialising in natural formulations designed to enhance human health. Based in our own West London production facility and lab, we control the entire process from science to shelf—ensuring real products backed by real research.
We’re a small but ambitious team at a pivotal stage. Our next hire will help shape our future, defining how we develop new products while leading from concept to launch.
The Opportunity
This is an end-to-end, owner-driven NPD role—not just execution, but strategic leadership. You’ll design and evolve KURK’s stage-gate NPD infrastructure, collaborate closely with our Operations & Product Manager, and have direct access to the founder to drive the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
New Product Development Ownership
- Lead NPD projects from concept to commercial launch, covering:
- Research & briefing (consumer, market, and gap analysis)
- Formulation development (bench trials, sensory refinement)
- Cost scrutiny & financial presentation for management
- Own stage-gate process design: Develop and embed KURK’s structured NPD methodology, not just follow existing workflows.
- Refine existing products using customer feedback, trend data, and competitive insights (formulation, flavour, packaging).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
