NPI Program Manager – Engines / Electric Power
Stafford (Site based)
6 Month Contract – potential to extended
37 Hours a week
Monday – Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am – 1pm
Are you experienced in leading the execution of focused NPI projects? The NPI Program Manager will be responsible for leading high performing, cross functional teams through the NPI process for each program managed. The NPI Program Manager will establish a project management plan and use the plan to manage product delivery; plan and manage resources for implementing changes; assist in evaluating requests.
What the NPI Program Manager will do:
- High level program management of multiple large NPI programs
- Presentation of weekly/monthly updates to management on NPI program progress, risks & concerns
- Team meetings, frequency as needed but typically weekly, for governing NPI programs
- Oversee creation of Program Project Plans and maintaining the plan schedule in support of Gateway Schedules
- Ensure program functional requirements are aligned with the product strategy, program financials, cost targets and Gateway schedules are met
- Organization and facilitation of key presentations including Stakeholder Updates, NPI Governance Meetings, NPI gateway reviews and NPI Issue Resolution Meetings as needed
- Quickly and correctly identify problems which may not be obvious and solve problems by determining the best course of action within departmental guidelines
- Management and coordination of development, pilot, field follow and first production product builds through Operations
- Builds relationships with other departments within the NPI program team
- Identifies cost containment opportunities
- Identifies trends and areas of focus for continuous improvement
- Guide and coach both junior members of the project management team as well as global cross functional areas representatives assigned to the relative NPI program

What the NPI Program Manager Will Need:

- University degree or project management equivalent experience
- Experience in Design, Development, Engineering or Operations
- Experience leading high performing, cross functional teams
- Experience/knowledge of engine products for electric power applications - desirable
- Engine/Electric Power Experience - desirable
Up to £37.16p/h PAYE plus holiday and pension contribution OR up to £50.43p/h Umbrella
