About The Role
As an NPI Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading technically complex, high-impact projects from concept through to production. Working within a fast-paced, international environment, you will collaborate closely with global teams across Germany, China, and the UK to deliver innovative products and technologies.
This is a highly visible role where you will influence strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards—while continuously improving how we work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Planning and delivering complex engineering and R&D projects from inception through to successful product launch
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and project risks to ensure successful outcomes
- Acting as a key interface between international teams, integrating requirements across the full product development lifecycle
- Driving effective stakeholder engagement, confidently communicating with audiences from technical teams through to senior leadership
- Refining project governance, structures, and processes to improve efficiency and optimise performance
- Applying and evolving modern project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, hybrid approaches) across all phases of delivery

What Skills And Experience You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading R&D and/or engineering development projects in complex, regulated environments with direct customer interaction
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-demand setting, balancing competing priorities while delivering impactful results
- Strong leadership capability, with a collaborative and empowering approach to team development
- Confidence working in ambiguity, with the ability to set direction and manage technical complexity
- Established track record of successfully delivering projects from concept to launch, improving product and production performance
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology (or equivalent experience)
- Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum)
- Experience working within global, multicultural teams
Desirable:
- Experience in MRI, medical devices, or highly regulated industries
- Background in new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing, or production ramp-up
- Knowledge of engineering tools and methodologies such as FMEA, DFM, DFA
