Your role

An exciting opportunity to join the Thermal Management Solutions (TMS) segment of Edwards business during a huge transition and period of growth. Focused on penetrating our existing Edwards customers with differentiated technology and helping shape and manage an already well-defined future roadmap of innovative products.

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager, your role includes end-to-end delivery of new products from concept approval through production launch and handover to sustaining teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to cost, to quality, and in compliance with internal and external requirements, coordinating cross functional teams across engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and marketing/commercialization. Looking for a person who is structured, delivery-focused, calm under pressure, decisive when required, has strong ownership mindset, and commercially aware.

Core Responsibilities Include

  • Work with all stakeholders to estimate time, budget, and risks for project plan generation
  • Drive results and establish organized plans for project execution
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables at once
  • Ensure good risk assessments and mitigations are put in place to ensure timely project completion
  • Management of technical control files and filing of project deliverables
  • Co-create, deliver, and present CPR gate/update packs in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain project plans, inputs in tracking systems (e.g Accelerator+), and all reporting areas as needed
  • Work with Commercialization Manager and Product Management to manage resources according to priority - highlighting resource gaps before becomes a major issue

To succeed, you will need

Role

We encourage candidates from varied backgrounds to apply, valuing diversity and the unique perspectives you bring. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Engineering/Science degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in engineering or NPI project/programme management
  • Hardware product delivery experience (thermal/fluid/mechanical/semiconductor)
  • Strong planning, scheduling, risk management; Gantt chart proficiency
  • Works well in matrix/global teams; leads without authority
  • Stage-gate/NPI and regulatory/safety familiarity
  • Excellent communication; organised and detail-to-exec capable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; fluent English
  • Location: Clevedon, UK; minimal travel
