Lifeguard
Position & Hours
- Job Title: Lifeguard
- Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal
- Pay: £12.71 per hour
Join our One Great Team at Haven as a Lifeguard, where you’ll create a safe and fun-filled swimming experience for our guests!
We’re looking for vigilant, responsible, and certified Lifeguards to ensure our swimmers enjoy a safe and enjoyable time. Ideal candidates will have sharp observation skills, the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies, and a friendly, approachable attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including first aid and rescue.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations for a safe environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of pool equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with queries and concerns.

Requirements
- Signed-up NPLQ certification (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification).
- Proficient swimmer.
- Exceptional observation and decision-making skills.
- Ability to stay focused and act quickly in emergencies.
- Friendly, approachable, with strong communication skills.
- Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Note: Successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting.
