Family Solicitor - NQ- 4 PQE
Leicester - (Hybrid)
A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Leicester is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its growing private family law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and respected team, handling a varied caseload of privately funded family matters. The team has an excellent reputation for providing pragmatic, compassionate advice and is recognised for its expertise in complex financial remedy work.
Working alongside experienced senior lawyers, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality matters while receiving ongoing support and mentoring to further develop your technical and commercial skills. You'll also have the opportunity to become involved in networking, business development and profile-raising activities as you build your own practice.

The Role
You'll manage your own caseload of private family law matters, including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings, including high-value and complex asset cases
- Cohabitation disputes
- Private children matters
- Drafting court applications, consent orders, witness statements and legal documentation
- Managing matters from instruction through to conclusion
- Delivering exceptional client care with clear, practical and empathetic advice
- Working closely with colleagues on more complex matters where required
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with experience handling private family law matters.
- Be confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision where required.
- Have excellent communication and client care skills.
- Be organised, commercially aware and able to prioritise a busy workload.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and sound legal judgement.
- Enjoy building long-term client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.
- Be enthusiastic about business development and helping to grow the department.
