We are working exclusively with a highly regarded, award-winning independent commercial law firm in Manchester to recruit a Corporate Solicitor to join its market-leading Corporate team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the North West's most respected corporate practices, consistently recognised by leading legal directories and industry awards for the quality of its work. The firm advises an impressive portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies, SMEs and larger corporate clients across a broad range of sectors.

The Role
You'll work on a varied and high-quality caseload, advising clients across the full spectrum of corporate transactions and company law matters, including:
- Mergers, acquisitions and business disposals
- Corporate due diligence and disclosure exercises
- Investment agreements
- Shareholder agreements and bespoke articles of association
- Share restructures and group reorganisations
- Employee share schemes, including EMI options
- Company formations and corporate governance matters
- Non-contentious insolvency work
- Banking and finance transactions, including loan documentation, security and priority arrangements

The role offers significant client contact from an early stage and the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on complex transactions while continuing to develop your technical expertise.
About You
This opportunity would suit a solicitor with strong academic credentials who is looking to further develop their career within a high-performing and supportive corporate team.
You'll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- NQ to approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law (or strong corporate seat experience during training)
- Experience advising across a broad range of corporate and company law matters
- Training and/or post-qualified experience gained within a national, international or leading regional law firm
- Experience acting for SMEs and owner-managed businesses would be advantageous
- Excellent technical drafting and analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills and a commercial approach to client service
