An opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor to join a busy and well-regarded Employment team in Luton, Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent role for a junior solicitor looking to build a strong foundation in both contentious and non-contentious employment law within a supportive and commercially focused environment.

The Role

You will work closely with senior fee earners and partners on a varied caseload, including:

  • Employment Tribunal claims and litigation support
  • Drafting ET1s, ET3s, witness statements and other tribunal documentation
  • Advising on day-to-day HR and employment law queries for employer clients
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements
  • Supporting corporate transactions, including TUPE matters where required
  • Assisting with post-termination restrictions and advisory work
  • Attending client meetings, both in person and remotely
  • Conducting legal research and preparing clear, practical advice notes

Requirements

  • Recently qualified Solicitor (NQ) with experience or training seat in Employment Law
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgement
  • A commercial, client-focused approach
