An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified (NQ) Private Client Solicitor to join a respected and growing law firm in Stafford. This role provides the chance to work alongside experienced practitioners, gain exposure to high-quality private client matters, and develop a long-term career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
You will collaborate closely with seasoned Private Client lawyers, developing expertise across a wide range of expertises:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Trust administration
- Inheritance Tax planning
The ideal candidate will:
- Manage their own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Continue developing technical and client relationship skills
- Build upon their knowledge in a structured ethical setting

Responsibilities
- Execute and advise on complex private client matters
- Prepare and review draft documents under supervision
- Develop client relationships while under supervision
- Maintain organised and detailed record-keeping
- Actively participate in team-based projects and client engagements
About You
Ideal candidates meet the following criteria:
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
- Experience in a Private Client seat and/or related private client practice
- Proven communication and client care skills
- Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to establishing a long-term career in Private Client law
