Mode Search is supporting one of the world's most renowned luxury fashion houses in the search for a Client Development Manager. This role is focused on driving client engagement, strengthening customer loyalty, and supporting long-term commercial growth through strategic client development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the client experience across both physical and digital touchpoints while supporting the cultivation of high-value customer relationships.
This position is based within a flagship retail environment in London and works closely with both store leadership and wider client development teams. The role partners with sales, CRM and customer service functions to deliver client engagement strategies and reports into the store leadership structure while maintaining close collaboration with regional client development stakeholders

The Role Deliver and implement client development strategies that drive client acquisition, retention and long-term value. Champion a strong clienteling culture, coaching teams to build meaningful and lasting customer relationships. Support the adoption and optimisation of CRM and clienteling tools across the store. Partner with store leadership to define and execute client engagement priorities aligned with business objectives. Coordinate client events, private appointments and personalised experiences to strengthen loyalty and engagement. Identify and develop high-potential clients, supporting targeted outreach and relationship-building activities. Use client data and CRM insights to drive recruitment, retention and reactivation opportunities. Monitor the effectiveness of client development initiatives and recommend improvements where needed. Deliver coaching and training to enhance client engagement skills and CRM best practices across the team.

Requirements Experience in client development, CRM, clienteling or a luxury/premium retail environment. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients. Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams effectively. Confidence using CRM systems and customer data to drive commercial performance. Experience delivering customer events, engagement initiatives or personalised client experiences. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills. Commercial mindset with a focus on customer loyalty, retention and growth. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences within a service-led environment.
