Role Overview

One of our clients is hiring Nuclear Engineering Experts to teach AI how to interpret and analyse complex technical problems. As a domain expert, you will:

  • Create rigorous technical prompts
  • Evaluate AI model responses for engineering accuracy
  • Ensure AI adheres to the highest standards of technical reasoning—all on a fully remote, flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models for nuclear engineering concepts
  • Craft challenging technical prompts (focusing on nuclear engineering) and write expert-level answers
  • Evaluate and rank domain-specific AI-generated responses for accuracy and reasoning validity
  • Review and correct AI-generated chains of thought for technical correctness
  • Provide precise written feedback on engineering reasoning, methodology, and problem-solving approaches
  • Collaborate with the expert community to maintain high-quality technical standards

Required Skills

  • Ability to write clearly and precisely about nuclear engineering, fuel cycle design, radiation shielding, reactor physics, waste management—in fluent English
  • Strong analytical reasoning with a rigorous attention to technical detail
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Nuclear Engineering (or related field such as Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or Engineering Physics)
  • Professional experience as a practicing nuclear engineer, researcher, or equivalent highly technical/analytical role

Compensation

  • Up to $150 USD/hr
