The Role

You will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability assessments across the full system lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. The role involves translating customer and operational requirements into integrated system solutions that balance technical performance, schedule, and cost constraints through functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition, and timeline analysis.
Complexity
- Develop innovative solutions to highly complex engineering challenges involving emerging technologies, survivability requirements, and unique system constraints.
- Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will lead technical activities, contribute to long-term programme objectives, and collaborate closely with senior engineers, customers, and technical authorities.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Extensive relevant engineering experience, supported by a post-secondary qualification or specialist training in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in the nuclear/radiation hardening of electronic equipment is essential.
- Strong understanding of resilient electronic system design for operation in demanding or mission-critical environments.
