Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) Engineer
Location: Hybrid
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Please note: Due to the nature of this work, applicants must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
Copello is working with a leading engineering organisation to recruit a (PSA) Engineer to join a growing nuclear safety team.
This role will involve supporting the development and maintenance of nuclear safety cases, carrying out probabilistic safety assessments, and providing technical input to support the safe design and operation of complex engineering facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce and maintain nuclear safety case documentation.
- Develop and apply PSA models to support safety assessments.
- Perform probabilistic risk and hazard analysis.
- Contribute to safety case reports and technical documentation.
- Support engineering teams by identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve safety.
- Ensure work is delivered in line with relevant regulations, standards, and ALARP principles.

Skills & Experience
- Experience in Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) or Nuclear Safety Case development.
- Knowledge of risk assessment techniques including PRA, FMEA, Hazard Analysis, and Design Basis Analysis.
- Understanding of UK nuclear regulations and safety standards.
- Strong technical report writing and stakeholder communication skills.
