Nuclear Senior Process Engineer (Full-time / Part-time)

Your role
In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges across the full project lifecycle, from concept design to decommissioning.
- Contribute to core process engineering deliverables, including:
- Process sizing calculations.
- Heat and material balances.
- P&IDs/.
- Apply your skills and interest in process modelling and process safety activities such as HAZID/HAZOP studies and DSEAR assessments.
- Work closely with colleagues across AtkinsRéalis to provide expertise where it is most valuable and impactful.
- Experience a variety of working environments, including client-embedded roles, site-based assignments, and in-house engineering support.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality, thoughtful engineering solutions with a strong focus on client outcomes.

- You enjoy leading and supporting others, and feel confident guiding a small team while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- You bring an appreciation of how engineering work connects to commercial outcomes and feel comfortable engaging with clients in a thoughtful and confident way.
- You have a strong foundation in Chemical or Process Engineering (BEng/MEng), with IChemE chartership achieved or in progress.
- You're curious about the nuclear industry whether through direct experience or transferable insights and bring an understanding of its fundamentals.
- You're energised by technical problem-solving and may have experience or interest in areas such as process simulation tools or model-based systems approaches.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and conversation, and value open and respectful collaboration.
- You find fulfilment in mentoring and supporting the development of others, and are motivated to play an active role within a growing team.

Security clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
