Job Description: Paediatric Nurse (Community Complex Care)
What You’ll Do
As a Paediatric Nurse, you will:
- Provide high-standard nursing care to children with complex needs within our community-based packages.
- Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) under guidance from senior paediatric complex community nurses.
- Follow up-to-date care plans to ensure awareness of the client’s needs and medical wishes.
- Deliver holistic, patient-centred care, empowering clients to achieve their full potential.
- Enjoy flexible working where required.

Requirements: What You’ll Need
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse (NMC Pin) with a valid qualifications in Diplomat/Degree plus minimum 3 years of paediatric nursing experience.
- Background in paediatric nursing.
- Proven commitment to delivering high-quality client care.
- Strong self-motivation, enthusiasm, compassion, and a caring attitude.
Essential Clinical skills (paediatric complex nursing):
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilation support
- Respiratory therapy (Cough Assist, Chest Percussion, Clearance)
- Catheter management (intermittent, indwelling, suprapubic)
- Bowel care (including colostomy care & manual evacuations)
- Nasal/oropharyngeal suctioning
- Specialist feeding (PEG, gastronomy, jejunostomy, nasogastric)
