Nurse

Registered Mental Health Nurse – Low to Medium Secure Hospital

A committed Registered Mental Health Nurse is required by one of UK’s leading healthcare providers at a specialised facility in Charlwood, Surrey.

This low to medium secure hospital focuses on treating male patients aged 18+ detained under the Mental Health Act (1983), providing extended treatment and rehabilitation.


Eligibility

  • Essential: Must be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active current NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering a high standard of care to patients with mental illness and personality disorders.
  • Building therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
  • Adhering to professional codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, while promoting ethical practice and respecting patient rights.
  • Participating in patient assessments and developing a personalised plan of care, monitoring progress as needed.
  • Leading shifts and mentoring junior staff (student nurses and team members) at a senior level.
