Nurse Associate – Community Mental Health Team (Dorset)

About the Role

An exciting new opportunity within the Blandford Community Mental Health Team for a registered Nurse Associate to join their established multidisciplinary team (MDT). You’ll deliver excellent holistic care to residents across the Dorset area as part of an integrated health and social care team, supporting patients experiencing mental health difficulties during their care and recovery journey.

The role will involve clinical, therapeutic, and social interventions to promote health, well-being, self-autonomy, and independence. The post holder will provide nursing and care across the lifespan, delivering person-centred and evidence-based interventions while working independently—under the guidance of registered nurses—and supporting less experienced staff and learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned care to a defined group of patients, adhering to:

    • Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards of Proficiency
    • Trust policies and protocols
    • Client-centred and evidence-based principles
  • Collaborate through holistic and person-centred approaches, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for service users/patients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
