Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Pediatric Neurology specializes in providing neurology care to hospitalized patients and those in an outpatient setting who are transitioning back to their regular providers. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our esteemed Neurology team to manage hospitalized patients with our physician partners. As members of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Brain Protection Sciences, our team works closely with the pediatric neurosurgeons, neuroimaging, neuro-oncology and neuropathology specialists.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric neurology patients. Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans. Provide family-centered care by effectively communicating with patients' families, addressing their concerns, and involving them in the decision-making process. Participate in medical rounds, case presentations, and educational activities to enhance team knowledge and clinical practice. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance pediatric neurology practices. The APRN or PA demonstrates understanding of internal and external APRN or PA practice rules, regulations and legislation to maintain compliance and certification. Serves as an advocate for the needs of the patients across the health care continuum ensuring the best patient and family experience and to advance pediatric health throughout the community we serve. Integrates ethical principles in decision making.

Qualifications
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification and licensure in the state of Florida. Master's degree in Nursing (PNP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA) from an accredited program. Current BLS and PALS Prior experience in pediatric neurology or a related field is preferred but not required. Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Dedication to providing compassionate and family-centered care to pediatric patients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

Salary Range: Minimum 51.03/hour - Maximum 79.10/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
