JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role: Nurse Prescriber / Associate Specialist Grade Psychiatrist Service: RTC Adult ADHD Titration Clinic at Atrom Mindcare Location: Atrom Mindcare Clinic in Epping Contract: Full-time/ Part-time/Flexible – hybrid/remote work Reports to: Clinical Director
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Prescriber or Associate Specialist Grade Psychiatrist to join our Adult ADHD Titration Clinic. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting patients through the titration process, ensuring safe and effective medication management, and conducting comprehensive ADHD assessments when required. The Clinical Director will provide direct supervision and ongoing support, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Medication titration and monitoring: Initiate, adjust, and monitor ADHD medication regimens to ensure safety and efficacy. Prescribing responsibilities: Provide independent prescribing within the scope of practice, adhering to clinical governance standards. Collaborative care: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and administrative staff. Patient education and support: Offer guidance to patients and families regarding ADHD, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Clinical documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records. Professional development: Engage in supervision, training, and reflective practice under the guidance of the Clinical Director. Conduct Adult ADHD assessments if/when needed: Carry out structured diagnostic evaluations in line with national and local guidelines.

Essential Requirements Professional qualification: Registered Nurse Prescriber or Associate Specialist Grade Psychiatrist. Experience in ADHD: Demonstrated experience in conducting Adult ADHD assessments and managing ADHD treatment. Prescribing authority: Current prescribing rights and up-to-date registration with the relevant professional body (NMC/GMC). Clinical skills: Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, risk assessment, and mental health care. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Teamwork: Commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care.
