Nurse Trainer - Medical Law Services (MLS)
Location: Hybrid policy - Able to travel to one of the office locations (Manchester, Southport, Liverpool, Leeds)
Internal applicants: 6 months secondment, external fixed term.
Hours: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Salary: £35,000
Medical Law Service part of Fletchers Solicitors group have a fantastic opportunity to join our growing MLS Nurse Team.
Purpose Of Role
The role supports leadership, role modelling, driving vision through learning and development ensuring skills and competency helping all in team to meet their learning and development needs.
The nurse trainer will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering educational programmes to advance nursing experience, knowledge of process and support the professional growth of staff.
This role combines clinical expertise and teaching skills to ensure nurses are equipped to deliver high quality products and informed decisions.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the support of training New Starters into pagination 12 week probation period.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs
- Build and maintain training reference guidelines, how to docs etc
- Support with the use of internal AI systems (i.e MeRMIADD) for new starters and Nurse Analysts
- Serve as mentor and role model to nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional development and life long learning
- Conduct classroom training sessions ensuring alignment with healthcare standards and current NICE guidelines
- Stay informed of the law on breach, causation but also nursing practice
Essential Skills And Experience
- Excellent presentation and in a training setting
- To be highly motivated, organised and proactive.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work as a team member and remotely.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in NHS practice / clinical setting.
- NMC registered
- 6-12 months broad experience of working in pagination
Desirable Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Experience of Proclaim or other software tools including, Excel and MeRMAIDD
