Nurse Unit Manager

Position: Unit Manager (RGN, RMN, RNLD) Care Home: Potters Green Location: Rotherham, S64 5UW Contract: Full Time, 42 hours per week (must be flexible to work across days and nights) Rate: £22.48 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to use your nursing leadership skills to make a real difference every day. Join us as the new Unit Manager at Potters Green care home in Rotherham, where we care for adults living with complex and high acuity needs.

As part of Exemplar Health Care, we support individuals with:

  • Complex mental health needs
  • Dementia
  • Neuro-disabilities (including acquired brain injuries, Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease)
  • Physical health conditions The Roman Unit provides care exclusively for residents assigned male at birth.

About the Role

As Unit Manager, you’ll oversee clinical care delivery for your unit while maintaining high standards of nursing and care. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team to ensure all medical, physical, and emotional needs of residents are met
  • Providing strong leadership to develop continuous improvement and high-touch care
  • Managing clinical aspects, risks, and compliance (e.g., medication handling, administration, and waste disposal) per UK best practices
  • Nominated Nurse role, overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and profiles of allocated residents
  • Supervising a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, andHealth Care Assistants (HCAs)

About You
