In this senior-level position, you will:
- Work directly under the guidance of the Clinical Nurse Manager
- Manage a team of nursing and care professionals

Responsibilities
As our Nurse Unit Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will likely include:
- Leading care and nursing teams to address physical, medical, and emotional needs
- Maintaining clinical excellence and establishing high standards through oversight and policy
- Assessing, identifying, and managing risks in your unit’s operation
- Timely completion and review of care plans and risk assessments
- Acting as the Named Nurse with full responsibility for assigned residents’ medical oversight
- Coordinating the unit’s medication system—including ordering, handling, storage, administration, documentation, and disposal
Requirements & Qualifications

- Serve as an exemplary role model in leadership
- Comfortably manage a nursing team consisting of RN, Nurse Associates, and Healthcare Assistants
Essential Qualifications
- Valid first-level NHS registration (recognised such as RGN, RMN, or RNLD)
- Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN current and unexpired
As this is a management-focused position, you will also require:
- Post-registration experience (e.g. clinical leadership, supervision, or nursing management)
- Management training, certification, or documented managerial experience (this is an ideal opportunity for career advancement).
