About Our Nursery
Located in the picturesque village of Ruddington, Nottingham, our Ofsted Outstanding nursery offers:
- A Forest School centre with dedicated woodland activities
- Forest School sessions, including den-building, nature crafts, and fire safety (under supervision)
- Spacious grounds with playful outdoor space, serene horse fields, and opportunities for curiosity-driven learning

Role Details
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Uplifting childcare standards: Ensure best practice in environment, facilities, and daily learning experiences for a broad-age group.
- Focus on key carer responsibilities — creating supportive relationships and personalised attention for assigned children.
- Curriculum-inspired play: Organise activities that cater to developmental stages, enriched by the outdoors.
- Never lost for learning ideas: Act as a catalyst for exploration, whether nature-based or in-house.
- Room leader substitute: Cover day-to-day operations during absence.
- National-duty met: Uphold and adapt our practice for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Effective collaboration: Work closely with students, junior staff, and parents while maintaining professionalism.
