Nursery Assistant – Chelmsford (Full-Time)
About the Role
Join Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, part of Grandir UK, as a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant in our Chelmsford branch. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our children’s development, fostering curiosity, and creating a nurturing environment where they thrive.
As part of the team, you’ll contribute to delivering high-quality early childhood education, ensuring every child feels respected, included, and excited to learn.
Salary
£12.71 per hour

Responsibilities
Working closely with our team, here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Promote high-quality EYFS standards in daily practices
- Support and supervise playroom staff in delivering activities and routines
- Assist in allocating children to key carers and maintaining smooth operations
- Engage with parents through updates, app communications, and thoughtful feedback
- Help promote our nursery, both to current/ prospective families
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and parents
- Ensure legal compliance with safeguarding and early years regulations
Requirements
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Passionate about children and early education
- Professional, reliable attitude
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check required
- Basic EYFS and safeguarding knowledge would be an advantage
