Position: Nursery Assistant Location: Ruddington Day Nursery, Nottingham Provider: Ruddington Day Nursery – Ofsted Outstanding | Part of Grandir UK Salary: £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Set and uphold high-quality standards in childcare (environment, resources, age-appropriate activities).
- Assign key carer responsibilities for assigned children.
- Plan and support stimulating age-based activities.
- Manage the daily environment in the absence of the Room Leader.
- Ensure the nursery meets all Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
- Train and aid mentoring item students and support staff for consistent, high-standard childcare.
- Maintain professional, collaborative relationships with parents and carers.
Eligibility & Commitment
- An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is mandatory to safeguarding children’s welfare.
