Nursery Assistant Havering

GBP14.25 - GBP16.65 per hour

Responsibilities Of a Nursery Assistant

  • Support children's learning through play as a Nursery Assistant
  • Assist with daily routines, personal care and meal times as a Nursery Assistant
  • Help create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment as a Nursery Assistant
  • Support children's communication, social and emotional development as a Nursery Assistant
  • Work alongside experienced practitioners to deliver high-quality EYFS activities as a Nursery Assistant
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues as a Nursery Assistant
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times as a Nursery Assistant

Requirements For a Nursery Assistant

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Assistant or within an early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient and positive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
