The Role: What You'll Do

Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, you will bring energy and care to the nursery room every single day. Your rewarding responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with room leaders to design and set up exciting, innovative, and playful learning activities.
  • Working with children on a 1:to:1 basis or in small groups to support their early learning journey.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to guide children safely through their day.
  • Supervising and encouraging children during mealtimes, snack times, and fun outdoor play.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children is essential for this role. To be successful, you will need:

  • Previous experience working within an education or early years setting.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • An Enhanced Child DBS check (or a willingness for one).
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is highly preferred.
