About the Role

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Hanham is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our welcoming team. You’ll play a key role in supporting, inspiring, and nurturing children, fostering curiosity, and helping them thrive daily.

Our Nursery & Location

Our bright, spacious nursery—with four themed rooms (Discoverers, Explorers, Creators, Inventors)—befits natural light and high-quality resources to encourage learning and creativity. All children benefit from outdoor access all year round in our expansive green spaces (two large grassed areas).

Located in a picturesque eco village near Hanham Hall, our nursery is within walking distance of local parks. We’re just mins from Hanham’s high street and ring road, ideal for commuting families. The nursery sits next door to a café and gym for convenience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support children in all activities
  • Prepare and run activities under Level 3 practitioners’ guidance
  • Maintain a welcoming and stimulating environment
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and operational practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward children, parents, colleagues, and visitors
  • Attend meetings, training, and team planning sessions as required

Requirements & Commitment

This role requires an enhanced DBS check due to safeguarding duties.
