Watford- Recruiting for Kitchen Assistant- September Start!

Part Time: 25 hours per week

Set Shifts: 9am-2PM

Monday-Friday – all year round

£12.83 per hour / £17,512 per annum (Including a 5% performance bonus)

Role Description

We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant. This role involves supporting the full-time Nursery Chef to prepare and cook meals for our children, ensuring a high standard of catering following the policies, procedures, and legislative guidelines whilst maintaining our excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene rating.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the importance of health and hygiene
  • Experience in a kitchen environment (nursery or school settings desirable)
  • Understanding of catering for special diets, allergies, and intolerances
  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping and organisational skills
  • An enthusiastic, flexible, can-do attitude
  • Clear DBS
