Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic, nurturing Nursery Assistants to join our supply team in Leeds. Whether you are looking for day:to:day flexibility to balance other commitments, or short:term block bookings, we have a wealth of opportunities in early years settings across the city.
Key requirements
To be considered for this early years supply role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Essential UK Experience: You must have recent, practical experience working within a UK nursery, pre:school, or primary school early years (EYFS) setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS: A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, including how to support child:led play and learning.
- A Warm, Nurturing Approach: Outstanding patience, a friendly attitude, and the energy required to keep up with active young children.
- Safeguarding Compliance: A valid, enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check through Randstad).
- Qualifications (Desirable): While a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is highly beneficial, we also welcome applications from highly experienced, unqualified assistants with a proven track record in UK settings.
