Nursery Practitioner (Lunch Cover)

Our Dicky Birds Nursery in Queens Road is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting, and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity, and helping them thrive every day.

Lunch cover role: 9.30/10am - 2.30/3pm Monday to Friday

Location and Travel

What will you be doing

  • Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
  • Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
  • Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
  • Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
