Nursery Assistant Unqualified Trainee

Nursery Assistant – Boot Farm Nursery

Location: Boot Farm Nursery (must be a driver due to location) Salary:

  • £29,740.20 (for those over 21)
  • £25,389 (for those 21 and under) Hours: 45 hours per week over 5 days

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, your key duties will include:

  • Supporting engaging learning experiences following the EYFS framework
  • Assisting practitioners in encouraging children’s development and learning through play
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Supporting daily nursery routines, including play, mealtimes, and outdoor activities
  • Upholding high standards of care, hygiene, and safety
  • Helping create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

✔ Willingness to learn and develop within early years, including completing a fully funded Level 2 or Level 3 qualification

Essential Qualifications and Criteria:

  • Willingness to undertake and complete an Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3) through our partner provider.
  • Minimum age applicable for salary eligibility.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Completion of two satisfactory references, right-to-work checks, and enhanced DBS clearance upon offer.

About Complete Childcare

We are an A Day Nurseries.co.uk ‘Top 20 Recommended Large Nursery Group’ for 2020, operating 17 day nurseries and pre-schools across:

  • Reading
