Nursery Assistant Unqualified Trainee
Nursery Assistant – Boot Farm Nursery
Location: Boot Farm Nursery (must be a driver due to location) Salary:
- £29,740.20 (for those over 21)
- £25,389 (for those 21 and under) Hours: 45 hours per week over 5 days
About the Role

Your Main Responsibilities
As a Nursery Assistant, your key duties will include:
- Supporting engaging learning experiences following the EYFS framework
- Assisting practitioners in encouraging children’s development and learning through play
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Supporting daily nursery routines, including play, mealtimes, and outdoor activities
- Upholding high standards of care, hygiene, and safety
- Helping create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
What We Are Looking For
✔ A passionate commitment to working with young children
✔ A positive, caring attitude and strong teamwork skills
✔ Willingness to learn and develop within early years, including completing a fully funded Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
✔ A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

Essential Qualifications and Criteria:
- Willingness to undertake and complete an Early Years qualification (Level 2 or 3) through our partner provider.
- Minimum age applicable for salary eligibility.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Completion of two satisfactory references, right-to-work checks, and enhanced DBS clearance upon offer.

About Complete Childcare
We are an A Day Nurseries.co.uk ‘Top 20 Recommended Large Nursery Group’ for 2020, operating 17 day nurseries and pre-schools across:
- Reading
- Wokingham
- Bracknell
- Newbury
- Banbury
We provide outstanding care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
