Location: Boot Farm Nursery (must be a driver due to the location)

Salary: £29,740.20 (over 21 year olds) £25,389 (21 year olds and under)

Hours: 45 hours over 5 days

Are you passionate about working with children and looking to start or grow your career in early years? We will support you to achieve a professional qualification in Early Years (level 2 or 3 depending on experience and knowledge), fully funded and excellent support given in-house and with our provider.

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our warm, welcoming and nurturing nursery. Our children thrive, our staff feel valued, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and education.

Your Main Role and Responsibilities

As a Nursery Assistant, You Will

  • Support the delivery of engaging learning experiences following the EYFS framework
  • Assist practitioners in supporting children's development and learning through play
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Support daily nursery routines including play, mealtimes and outdoor learning
  • Help maintain high standards of care, hygiene and safety within the nursery
  • Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

  • Passion for working with young children
  • A positive and caring attitude
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop within an early years setting, undertaking a level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification through our provider, free of charge
