Nursery Assistant – Waltham Forest Wages: £14.25 – £16.65 per hour (ASAP start)

Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning through play-based activities
- Assist with daily routines, personal care, and meal times
- Help create a safe, stimulating, engaging learning environment
- Foster communication, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with experienced practitioners to deliver EYFS-aligned activities
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant or in early years settings
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Caring, patient, and positive personality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting young children’s development
