We are searching for a special someone to create some ‘culinary magic’ in our nursery kitchen.
You would have a budget & lots of support in developing menus that take the very best of care for the health & nutrition of our little ones.
Ingredients Needed:
- 1 cup of love for cooking fresh, nutritious meals
- A sprinkle of creativity to make food fun & child-friendly
- 1 big scoop of patience (for tiny taste testers!)
- 3 tablespoons of teamwork to collaborate with our friendly nursery team
- A dash of experience in safe food handling, dietary requirements & allergy awareness
- 1 dash of passion for cooking & growing your own veggies (culinary experience essential, green fingers desirable)
Method:
- Preheat the Kitchen: Start each morning with a warm smile and a can-do attitude, creating a welcoming space for little ones to explore the world of food.
- Chop, Mix, and Prepare: Craft delicious, balanced meals that cater to young palates and dietary needs. Every dish should be freshly made, nutritious, and fun—think colourful veggies, playful presentation, and flavors our little ones will love!
- Season with Creativity: Our ideal cook isn’t afraid to spice things up with creative flair. You’ll be whipping up everything from veggie-packed pasta to tasty, bite-sized snacks that help introduce children to a wide range of flavors from around the world.
- Simmer with Care: You’ll ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, meeting food safety standards and respecting any allergies or dietary needs.
- Serve with a Smile: Bring meals to life with a friendly face, making food an exciting and enjoyable & social part of the day for every child.
- Marinate with Passion & kindness: We care deeply about sustainability, so prepare to recycle, reduce waste & support the little people in growing some veggies. You will also support our children in creating their very own culinary experiences. A love for children is essential in this role.
- Clean Up and Reset: Keep the kitchen sparkling clean and organised, so it’s ready for the next day of food fun.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
