Nursery Cook (Banchory Riverview) – CRITICAL In-Person Role
Location: Thrive Banchory Riverview
Type: Full-Time (In-Person) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 5.30pm (40 hours/week)
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Key Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience and be able to confidently demonstrate:
- A thorough understanding of working with allergens in a catering environment
- Experience within a nursery, care home, or similar settings
- The ability to work within strict time constraints and understand the importance of time management
- A strong knowledge of cross-contamination risks and their consequences

About the Role
As a Nursery Cook, your responsibilities include:
- Preparing nutritious, appealing meals for children to encourage healthy eating from an early age.
- Ensuring strict health and safety compliance throughout food prep, following hygienic standards to prevent contamination.
- Overseeing kitchen cleanliness and organisation for a well-maintained workspace.
- Adapting meals to individual dietary and nutritional needs of the children in your care.
