At Newpark Childcare, we know that great food plays a huge role in children’s wellbeing, development, and happiness. That’s why we’re looking for a passionate and capable Chef who enjoys cooking nutritious meals for young children and wants to be part of a warm, supportive nursery community.

If you take pride in preparing healthy food, enjoy working in a positive team environment, and love knowing your cooking is making a real difference to children every day, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our nursery, preparing fresh, balanced meals and snacks for babies and young children. Your work will directly support children’s growth and development while helping create a positive food culture within the nursery.

You will:

  • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for babies and children under 5
  • Plan and cook meals that meet dietary and nutritional needs
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow food safety standards and maintain required records
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure children receive the best care and nutrition

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
