Lead Early Years Educator (Third in Charge)

Nursery - Children 1st Birstall Nursery School by Storal
Address - 1 Park Rd, Birstall, Leicester LE4 3AX
Hours - Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday or 40 hours over 4 days (hours to be discussed at interview)
Salary - £30,680 per annum depending on experience and qualifications salary to be discussed

How you’ll spend your time here

  • You will be leading a dedicated team of friendly and supportive staff, helping to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
  • We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Lead Early Years Educator (Third in Charge) who will work in partnership with the educator team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encourage a love of learning through high-quality teaching under the EYFS framework
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences
  • Build relationships with the team to create an inspiring working environment
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the educator team
  • Be the third in command in the nursery after the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Identifying areas of change and implementing

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

  • Level 3 or above qualification within early years
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or with children under the age of 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness, and working together
