Be part of a team that helps children discover the world around them through play, creativity, and hands-on experiences. You’ll work in a welcoming, supportive environment where your ideas are heard, your professional development is supported, and your work truly makes an impact.
Kiddie Capers Childcare Uckfield, located in the heart of the town, offers a warm, nurturing environment with dedicated baby spaces and age-appropriate rooms that support every stage of early development. With creative play areas, cosy reading corners, a spacious outdoor area, Forest School sessions, and regular community outings, we believe learning extends beyond the classroom.
We are looking for a Nursery Manager to join our team and lead this new setting. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring our team to provide exceptional care and Early Years education for young children. You will oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child’s development. Your leadership will help shape the Nursery’s ethos, maintain high standards, and foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
