Nursery Manager – Leicestershire Nurseries
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week Salary: Starting from £17 per hour (£35,360 annual). Salary to be discussed based on experience and qualifications. Welcome Incentive: £500

About the Role
You’ll lead a team to shape the future of early years learning at one of Storal’s Leicestershire nurseries. In this role, you’ll:
- Drive the nursery’s success by ensuring the right team, culture, policies, and resources are in place.
- Offer innovative solutions for improvement, whether related to learning techniques, child engagement, or environmental enhancements.
- Embrace inclusivity to support the individual needs of children in your care.
- Foster a warm, nurturing environment that prepares children for school while developing essential life skills.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team, including an Operations Manager, Deputy Manager, Education Coach, and Early Years Educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to deliver high standards of childcare and early education.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives in teaching, learning, and childroom facilities.
- Support staff through training and guidance, aligning with Storal’s early years curriculum.
- Ensure strong safeguarding standards and DBS compliance across the team.

Requirements
- A Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years Education.
- GCSE Maths (or equivalent).
- Managerial experience, preferably in nursery administration or similar roles.
- Deep knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
- Experience in:
- Staff training and support.
- Provider responsibility, openness, and teamwork (reflecting Storal’s values).
- Leadership in early years settings.
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.
