The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a highly capable and well organised professional to the role of Nursery Manager at Newcastle High School for Girls.

A key role within the school, responsible for the operational leadership and day to day delivery of Early Years provision. Working closely with the Early Years Lead and Nursery Teacher, the Nursery Manager will ensure that Nursery, wrap around and holiday provision are consistently well organised, responsive to families and delivered to the highest standard.

The role plays an important part in ensuring that the Early Years setting operates effectively within a busy and evolving environment. It requires a clear and structured approach to organisation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate people, systems and processes so that provision runs smoothly and consistently.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the operational aspects of Nursery provision, bringing clarity and consistency to daily activity and ensuring a positive and well managed experience for both children and families. The role also contributes to the effective organisation and development of Early Years provision within the wider life of the school.

Our Early Years provision sits firmly within this educational context. It is designed not simply as childcare, but as the starting point of a continuous school journey, supported by teaching led practice and a well established transition into Reception.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
